NATIONAL DEMONSTRATION

SUNDAY 1 OCTOBER
Main themes:
NO MORE AUSTERITY | SCRAP THE PAY CAP | DECENT HEALTH, HOMES, JOBS & EDUCATION

Join other Moss Siders, with a different message from Moss Side

Join fellow Moss Siders for a Moss Side angle on #TakeBackMCR.

As well as the banner, locals will have 2 placards and some leaflets saying:

Stop Manchester City Council asset-stripping Moss Side.

Corbyn said in his conference speech: “Democracy must mean listening, not just to the rich and powerful, but to those who know what’s going on.”

So the demonstration on Sunday is an opportunity to generate awareness nationally that MCC did the opposite in Manchester, when they “decided” to ignore the national requirements and remove all “residents groups” from the comprehensive mailing list for the Ward Boundary Review consultation.

If that interests you, join others to walk to the demonstration together.

Meet 10:15, Sunday, central circle in Moss Side’s beautiful Whitworth Park.

Leaflet to print to notify others
