Pavement Garden, Moss Side

I love it when people who don’t have front gardens go ahead and make one anyway.  Just spotted this innovative use of old bicycles by some very creative Moss Siders.Pavement Garden, Moss Side

Below:  This green fingered Moss Sider also isn’t held back by not having an official front garden and is now covering in front of his neighbour’s houses too!

Right:  Great idea from another creative Moss Sider!  Not got a lawn?  Not even got a tiny front garden?  This Moss Sider isn’t held back by such things and has placed some artificial grass on the pavement in front of her house to brighten up her doorway!

Below:  Elsewhere in Moss Side, a wooden fence has been painted, screwed onto the front window sill, lined with artificial grass, and filled with compost and a mix of summer flowers and evergreens to brighten up the street all year round.

Left:  Another simple but effective idea for bringing colour and joy to the pavement. Here a small shelf has been screwed in just under the sill, so plants cover from the ground right up to the window. It looks stunning!

Below: A street gets transformed when several neighbours in a row get together and turn their pavement into their front garden. This delightful stretch of greenery is right here in our Moss Side.
